De-addiction Centre activities started in the year 1994.
Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, Peer Educators, Yoga therapist, are engaged for this project.
The treatment centre is doing good services among the common man. In this treatment centre, there is provision to treat 15 patients and the treatment period in 31 days

Jawahar Migrant Labourers Suraksha Project (Kottayam District)

The Project is a programme of behaviour strengthening aimed at Migrant labours, for reducing the risk of STD and HIV infection among the high-risk sexual behaviour groups. The project activity started in December 2009
Project area: Kottayam, Changanacherry, Pampady, Ettumanoor £ Pala.
Jawahar Family Counseling Centre
Started in the Year 1970
Many family clashes and descriptions have beensettled and a congenial family atmosphere created in rural areas. Two Counselors with post graduate in social work& Graduate Clerk have been employed for this project.
Jawahar Female Sex Workers Suraksha Project Alappuzha District.
To create positive behavior change among the high risk sex Workers .The services include behaviour change communication, condom programming, management of sexually transmitted infections, community mobilization process etc. Six Professional staff and Eight peer Educators are carrying out the work .(Project Director ,Project Manager, Accountant ,M&E Officer , Counselor, Nurse& Eight outreach workers)
Jawahar Creches
14 crèche units are functioning under the centre. 28 teachers Dedicated their service for the Project Crèches have been opened in different parts of the district for undertaking welfare necessaries to the working women. These children are looked after in day time giving nutritious food and playing facilities. Their medical checkup are also periodically entrusted with the help of Doctors and other medical Staff.
Jawahar Self Help Groups
Assisting and guiding rural women to organize self-help groups (SHGs) for their own empowerment and development. Promotes 55 SHGs in the rural areas of Kottayam district. Guides, Monitors and Assists them to avail loans from Bank.
Jawahar Cluster Development Programme( AHVY)Vadayar Village, Thalayolaparmbu
Cluster Development programme is introduced for the development of Screw pine Craft.
Artistic Pottery& Water Hyacinths Craft
Water hyacinths stem separated from the plant dried and converted as fibre for making beautiful handicraft products. These works are carried by traditional artisans of Udayanapuram, Thalayazham, area of Kottayam district. Selected traditional artisans will give assistance to develop their skill.
Jalanidhi Project Poonjar Thekkekara Gramma Panchayat.
The project aims social mobilization for the need, implementation and maintenance of water supply schemes. 24 WSS projects have been commissioned and 2 are about finish in june 2017.
Jawahar Handicrafts – Wood
A wooden handicraft production centre is managed by the organization. Women are engaged in manufacture of various wooden fancy and utility handicraft items.These articles are sold through various exhibitions conducted in different parts of the country.
Service Provider
Under PWDV Act 2005. (GO No.46/2007)
Service providers are Public Servants under section 21 of the IPC . Records Domestic Incident Report in prescribed format and forward to Magistrate & Protection Officer. Get aggrieved women medically examined and forward report to Protection Officer and Police Officer. If she requires, send her to Shelter Home. Service Provider provides counseling to both parties under court direction.

It is also entrusted with Jawahar counsellors to provide training classes as an outreach to needy people. As a part of the Outreach activities, counsellors are conducting training and class sessions at Schools Clubs/ SHG&ADS groups,. on PWDV ACT-2005, Family Adjustment Problems, Adolescent problems, Alcoholism etc.
